Believe it or not I’ve been making this, much to the delight of family and friends, for at least the last 10 years. The irony of this is, that when I lived in Kelowna, I didn’t even know it existed. I only discovered it at the bulk food store on Springfield when I went back to visit, a few years later. Now that I’ve discovered it, I won’t use any other brand! It is always received with such enthusiasm.
I recently gave my grandson a taste of the Tostito brand salsa (I thought we’d run out of Big Dave’s) and then discovered a hidden stash of Big Dave’s salsa, that I’d made last fall. Trust me when I tell you, there really was no comparison! Big Dave’s won out hands down!
I only wish that it was available in Ontario!
